Keep the Faith

We were very definitely deliberate in the dragging of our feet out of Yellowknife tonight. Overcast cloud and snow abounded, and clear skies shouldn’t have materialized until well after midnight.
However, some ways from town, partly cloudy skies yielded quickly to us almost an hour of vibrant greens and pinks dancing in every direction across the sky. It was hard to imagine this leaving Yellowknife just an hour and a bit earlier.
