Life is for the joy of life, isn’t it? To experience joy, to live joy, to discover joy and to be that which is joy. As I was about to meet Mandy outside Yaletown Skytrain station, I sent her a text just as I arrived outside… “Blue jeans, blue coat & terrible hair.” So when she text back and said “Ditto on the hair”, I knew two things – she was more than likely a liar, and that we were going to laugh. A lot.
Despite her flat out lying to me before we’d even met, I couldn’t help but to love every second of this shoot. It was like getting together with an old friend you’d hadn’t seen in a few months, and picking up right where you last left off.
