Doesn’t it feel exhilarating to get there and mix it up in the beautiful summer weather? Flowers in bloom, bicycles on gravel paths, kites being taken around in the wind, the tall grass blowing together in a certain direction and the comfortable warmth of that summer sun on our skin. It’s a beautiful time indeed.

I don’t even know where to begin! I’m so excited about this and I’m so thankful for Jamie’s time, energy, interpretation & action of exactly what I wanted in my new brand. I wanted something simple, modern, & clean …and I really think we’ve hit that nail right on the head. The logo to me speaks Earthiness (new word creation tonight?), and if you know anything about me – this planet Earth and everything it is means so, so much to me. I love my logo, and how it’s almost as though some of the most natural elements here on planet Earth have been combined into it …a water droplet bringing in some of my favourite experiences, some fire representing that burning desire within me to always expand and reach new places, a leaf for it’s organicness, and of course – the majestic feeling of the aurora borealis in it’s shape. The colours… so cool, calm and reminiscent of Winter & my favourite part of the world.
So, I couldn’t be more happy to say that www.blog.seannorman.com & www.seannorman.com have been completely refreshed & redefined. Some things you may find similiar to before, while others I’ve spent countless hours designing something completely new. I really hope you enjoy the new look as much as I am. If you’ve never invested in creating a brand for yourself, and for your company – I would highly reccommend it. What an amazing feeling, and what an absolute treat to have Jamie of Raw|Creative Boutique knock this out so perfectly for me! I’ll let some screenshots walk you through the rest. And of course, I’d love to gather your thoughts!

Kim & Wes are a blast, these two are so much fun and extremely down to Earth. I shot their wedding yesterday with Melanie, who was so much fun to work with and really has some great ideas and a lot of talent! We started the day in West Vancouver at Kim’s place for some details in the early afternoon before heading to a beautiful, secluded little church in the lush forest. Their day was one of the smoothest and timely flowing wedding days I’ve been a part of yet. Everything just seemed to work, from times & locations to every little detail they had planned!
I had my strobe cut out on me halfway through the reception, which was a bit of a shame but allowed for some fun ambient light photos! Thank youuu ISO 3200+! Don’t even get me started on the new Pocket Wizards though…

Kim & Wes, thank you more than words can say for such a great time, and a lot of laughs all through the day! Enjoy Mexico!
